On May 18-20, 2021 as a continuation of a series of events which has been held as part of the International Family Day on May 15-20, a 3-day “open door” was held  by the Shuvalan Child and Family Support Center in Garadagh and Sabunchu districts together with the Executive Powers and the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs.

A total of 186 families took part in the event, benefiting from psychological, legal and social services.

Families tell psychologists about the regulation of family relationships (mother-child, sibling, mother-in-law), children's psychological problems, family tension, rehabilitation of children with autism, violation of children's social adaptation, pre-exam anxiety, dependence on social networks and virtual games, distraction. Families who complained about the tension in the parent-child relationship were first informed about breathing techniques, self-training and meditation methods to reduce anxiety and stress, and the techniques were demonstrated. At the same time, practical work was carried out with young children on various methods.

Lawyers answered the concerns of families about children's rights, protection orders, legal support for alimony and other domestic issues.

Specialists were contacted by social workers on social benefits, pensions, disability, utilities, truancy, health and other issues.

Gifts were presented to 150 children within the "From Child to Child" project.
