The blood donation campaign " DONATE BLOOD, GIVE LIFE" started on April 12 with the initiative of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs in support of the blood supply system for the people, suffering from thalassemia, hemophilia and leukemia.

The campaign  which took place on April 12-13 in the territory of the Central Bank of Blood and the professional football club "Sabail", was attended by 150 people.

It should be noted that the action was carried out under the full control of a special medical team of hematologists, directed by the Central Blood Research Institute of Hematology and Transphysiology named after Bahadur Eivazov, in accordance with the rules of a special quarantine.

We once again thank the representatives of civil society, members of the Public Council under the Committee, various public organizations, the staff of the Football Club and the Academy, the staff of the Committee, as well as volunteers and private individuals for active participation in the work.
