A meeting was held at the State Committee with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Azerbaijan

Mrs. Bahar Muradova Chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs met with Mr. Cahit Bagchi,  Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Azerbaijan on July 30, 2021.

Mrs. Bahar Muradova congratulated the ambassador on his appointment to Azerbaijan and wished him success in his work for  developing Turkish-Azerbaijani relations, common goals and interests.

Mrs. Muradova expressed his condolences over the recent large-scale fire in Turkey and expressed her condolences to the families of the victims.

Noting that Turkish-Azerbaijani relations are developing at various levels, the chairperson of the Committee said that we especially appreciate the contribution made to the expansion of these relations through the embassy. Noting the role of Turkey's morals and other support in Azerbaijan's victory in the 44-day Patriotic War, Mrs. Muradova added the socio-political situation in the region has reached a new level.

Emphasizing the importance of the Shusha Declaration, the Committee official said that this important document imposes important obligations on us, has a new impact on relations between our governments, institutions, and societies.

In her speech, Mrs. Cahit Bagchi, Ambassador Extraordinary, and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Azerbaijan congratulated Azerbaijan  on the victory, noting that Turkey has has shown great political and moral support for Azerbaiajan.

Noting that Turkish-Azerbaijani relations are strengthening day by day, the ambassador said that our task is to keep this diplomatic bridge alive in a healthy way.

Expressing gratitude to Azerbaijan for its support in connection with the fire in Turkey, Mr. Bahchi said that the Azerbaijani state and people shared Turkey's grief and expressed their support from the first minutes, which is a clear example of friendly relations between our countries.
